Ability and Suitability for the course
TEFL Phuket reserves the right to deny admission to any applicant after review of a client’s application form, face-to-face, or distance interview. For all courses offered by TEFL Phuket, this decision will be based on the client’s abilities and history in the following areas: emotional and psychological stability; prior job or school history and performance; use or history of use of illicit drugs; excessive use of alcohol; and presence of any criminal or illicit activity or behavior. For TEFL certification courses the following areas will be reviewed as well: command of the English language; and verbal communication skills. The client shall disclose any histories or lack of abilities in the above areas prior to admission. If such conditions are revealed after admission into any of TEFL Phuket’s courses or classes, this shall be a valid reason for expulsion from the school, denial of certification, non-refund of fees paid, or any combination thereof. Admission of a client into a course is not a guarantee of same client passing a course nor a guarantee of client obtaining a TEFL Certificate.
Job placement
Although TEFL Phuket provides a job placement service for TEFL Certificants, no guarantee is made by TEFL Phuket for clients to actually become employed upon certification. It is in TEFL Phuket, the client, and job placement contacts’ best interest that TEFL Phuket train its clients to the best of its abilities, but this does not necessarily mean that the client will be fit for employment based on any conditions the client may have which include, but are not limited to: communicative abilities, emotional and psychological issues, etc. TEFL Phuket will do its best to inform the client of any conditions of same client which may affect his appeal to potential employers. All employment decisions are ultimately the decision of the potential employer.
